"INSTA" DAYS.

BIGGEST BUBBLE EVER.

She worked for 10 minutes by herself perfecting this technique.  It has been absolutely gorgeous here in the city.

LITTLE CHEETAH IN THE BIG CITY.

Today was one of those days where I felt the need to pinch myself because I am actually raising my daughter in the city of my dreams.  I love this city (no secret), and I love all the things she gets to experience and be a part of, on a daily basis.  We checked out City Target today and it is pretty awesome.  I'm used to driving to the suburbs right outside of town to do my Target shopping, but this was a nice change.  The parking garage part and the hiking back to the car with a Target load part weren't so awesome, but not horrible either.  The extra bonus is that it is right across the street from the Children's Creativity Center, where we have a membership, and where there is a CAROUSEL.  If you follow me on Instagram, you know that the CAROUSEL is Viv's favorite thing EVER.

It was that perfect October in SF weather.  Not too cold, not hot, but a little grey, with the approaching holiday season hanging in the air.  We had lunch and played on the grass and looked at the tall buildings and talked about things we could do this season.  I love the holidays, and I love spending them with Mitch and Viv in the city.

I HEART OCTOBER IN SAN FRANCISCO.

I say it every year, but San Francisco is at it's most beautiful in October.  Not only is it my favorite city, it's also my favorite month (and my favorite holiday).  Viv and I kicked off the beginning of the month yesterday with a trip to the beach.

Hello October, I've waited all year for you...

THINGS VIV'S SAID.

"I am the best daughter in the wholest wide world."

"Daddy, I tan (can) give you a big wet one (kiss).  Will dat (that) make you happy?"

"Oh, I like my nails long mommy, so I can do things like this (scratching her head) and it feels good.  I like it."

"When I growed up I'm gonna be in a band.  Mommy you can be in my band!  Dat make you happy?"

"Dinosaurs are not tary (scary) Mommy, they are nice and they lick you."

"It's okay Mommy, four books is not that many" (after I told her to pick two).

"Mommy, you sure you're happy?"

"I really don't like funder cause it goes BOOM like dat, and it tares me" (scares me).

Me: I'm going to go make your egg.
V: Oh, I can do it!?
Me: You can help me, but you're too little once it goes in the pan.
V: Oh, but it's okay, I'm not too little.  I tan (can) do it, I'm three.

V (today): Mommy my heart hurts.
Me: What?  Why does your heart hurt sweetie?
V: Cause I'm sad.
Me: Why are you sad?
V: Cause I asked for a tandy (candy) and you said "No".  Dat made me sad.

Yesterday at the beach watching the surfers:
V: But I don't want daddy to be a surfer.
Me: How come babe?
V: Cause I don't want him to get lost by that wave?
Me: You don't need to worry Vivi, Daddy is very careful, and plus, he's not out there today.
V: Oh!  I will ride a whale like Diego and save him!
Me: Sounds good.

You are just the sweetest, Vivienne.
